Alan de Lawedre's second wife, first mentioned as such in a Precept in October 1372.[1] On 26th July 1377 King Robert II confirmed to Alan de Lawedre, the estates of Haltoun, in Ratho, Edinburghshire. In this charter Alan's wife is again referred to as Elizabeth.[2] Findlater-Maxwell writes "doubtless the daughter of John de Haltoun who resigned Haltoun, in Ratho, in 1377."[3]
